Ian i would be most upset to loose any of my birds. I have always reported strays or phoned their owners and arranged to get them back to them. But sadly alot of people get a stray in and then eaither keep it or dispose of it. Not what i call true pigeon man/women, but we all know it happens. I had one return just a few weeks ago that had been missing for a while. He came back looking in great condition, and after the weather we had been having i know he would,nt have been slumming it. Oh and the fact he had a little clip ring on his leg was the biggest give away. I havent got money to throw away and as my little hooligans havent been more than 20 Miles i would have thought it would be a bit of a daft thing to do. |
