snowing again!!

just let dog out and ground is white again, fed up with this weather now...

been rain all day and bitter ENE winds

its lovely here in Guernsey was outside today in shorts and T shirt the birds were a bit scared tho

typical was going to alter all my entrances tomorrow, looks like i will have to wear me thermals again

Must say water has to be changed if possible as often as possible and as late as you can also

yes don you are right, this year i havnt let them out very much at all........when they are sitting eggs im scared they will go cold or the parents wont come in, or if feeding ybs as they always have food infront of them they also might not come in.......and then they are at risk of being killed by either cats or hawks....

what is beneficial Don as late as you can, just wondering why, i change water 9am 3pm, is reason fresher water late on at night

Steve one of the reasons is the water can soon get contaminated durring the breeding season, u only have to look at the loft half an hour after u have cleaned it, it looks like its not been touched, thats why i hate this time of year lol love the babies its all the S T i carnt stand lol
