Barnie !!!!! A view like that etc is worth more than gold  Wink Wink in my view. Easy to smell the roses & the fresh air there I would say & a bit like I have etc, to a degree. Hard thing thou Smile Smile I suspect "Trouble lurking" in where you are going to put the lofts.
Exiciting times moving into a new house etc. I remember it well, even thou it was 40 odd years ago for me.  cheers

Thanks for kind comments. Lots of renovation on house first so probably have to write this year off for pigeons. Hopefully get a loft up sept or october and I can fit it out over the winter ready for next year. Unless work goes quicker than planned. Never took a big job on like this so just got to watch the spending as it always seems to cost more than you plan. Definitely be worth it one day though. Best regards, barnie.

Been in a week and still a bit shell-shocked. Don't know where to start because lousey weather is stopping work like new roof, damp courses, windows to fit, so we just got to sit it out till weather improves. Noticed the garden drains off nicely so no probs with flooding here as it's on a bankside. Gonna take a few quid to put this right but well worth it one day we're sure. Missus already met neighbours and likes living here so far, seems proper friendly old-type community look out for each other. Seen a few cats around but not in our garden. Already filled a skip with junk around the place, previous owners left it in crap order like a tip, not happy about it.
