had rick and ray post their race results, no one else raced this week.....?

i sent 16 and still missing 5 latbrads they never been in race, realy bad race for me i was 20 min behind winner  

hi dan, they might find their way back yet, you never know.........its only the first race yet so plenty of time for them to show some form

90% of the pigeons timed in this year are last years ybs

well done dj lofts, I presume Baptist and son is you ? could you tell me if the yearlings which have won for you were on the dark last season as ybs ?

reason being we hear very often dark ybs don't make good old birds, if yours were on the dark this makes a nonesence of this theory......    

yes but most are on the dark now david so really a bird that was on the dark will probably win..but ask the question why are some now having two teams of ybs now,one dark one natural.

yes ray, I know some do now have two teams of ybs,  but some fanciers have stopped putting their ybs on the dark saying they don't make good old bird racers.......if dj lofts were darkness ybs it proves that darkness ybs still can make good old birds, in fact not just good old birds excellent old birds judging by dj lofts results.......

we put all the ybs on the dark as we only have 1 yb end

don't think it realy matters much with sprinters but distance birds take longer to mature so with the darkness yer forcing the issue more with them

i was,nt on the dark last season and i,m not this season.i,ll see what happens this year then make a decision next season

ive tried darkness a different way this season, removing the covers when its dark later in the evening....then letting the natural daybreak enter the loft around 6 o clock.

I like it better already because to me its easier, and also its is keeping the ybs nearer to natural whilst making them think its winter.......also when ive done it the other way my ybs have stopped wanting to fly by now, at the moment they are like rockets around the loft......
