The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

just wondering does it make a difference how far you train..i.m a firm believer in short chucks but plenty of them.a few go a lot further but are they any better doing this..whats your thoughts on this ?

I think once their fit short tosses is all that's needed but to get them fit then a few longer ones does no harm

The petrol heads Ray as I like to call them etc here achieve as much in the end as someone who has the smart's & is happy to toss short. One of the biggest mistakes newcomers make in my view, is they think that if you toss 60 odd miles their birds will be twice as fit as someone who tosses 30 miles as an example. Not the case, but you will still have them being sucked in, in believing that the only road to glory is filling the tank up & taking a cut lunch when they hit the road.
