rubbish yesterday lads.way off the pace in a very hard race.we sent 38 to 347 miles and we are still about 18 missing.terrible returns i think all over...no excuses just not up to it on the day

yes ray, that's the way it should be too..........I think far too many post results for advertising purposes, rather than for just letting members know how they have done.

but hey- ho, each to their own eh...........as long as we enjoy our birds, that's the main thing.  

hope they work back in for you Ray mate but who ever libed the birds needs to have somit said to them as ya know Guernsesy is in between France and the UK and weather was totally shit I wouldn't of libed birds what we had over here and in the English Channel

There are many here like me Ray    I suspect, that respect your way of doing things etc when you place your race results up for all to see via the internet type of thing. Just makes it the more sweeter    when it all falls into place on race day & you have a smile on your face with a nice result.  

Yesterday we had a race from Fougere our birds went up at 10/30 and the solent went up at 11/30 and it was sunny and no wind their, unfortunatly it started to rain again out about 12/00 in our club there was 6 birds home the first bird was 2hrs & 35mins for our first race thats good has our races can be up to 3hrs and only 24 birds went for a good reason very little birds left after a disasters we had last year I had 2 out of 3 and was 3rd in the race but as its going I would sunner have the birds home than win the race, but thats me

The curse of Devil's island      appears to have struck again Bro    by the looks of it etc with your report above. Glad thou you picked up a card    so all was not lost for the weekend, one could say.

Thanks Bro all is not lost as long as I have some birds to send its some thing to carry on for I think there as been a fear few lost just training never mind racing I am allready 10 down out of my 18 so things can only get harder for me
