The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

not had a single pigeon work bk in since first light yesterday, from the weekends race ? but I did have a hen turn up from the first channel race its unreal

weather wasnt good yesterday rick some will make it after some snap and a rest more will probley come over after this weeks racing from there

a few things contributed to sat , sun bad returns first the heat and the NE wind a lot of this years races have been easy races SWwind or SEwind and the first time they get a nose ender they can,t cope . my own pigeons coped well i think i got 2 on the day and 2 the next day 3 of them yearlings i think because they have a open hole most of the time and now the longer races are here i feed a heavier mix they need the fuel for the job .
