| One question for you about this, is why are you breeding youngsters this time of year?? I thought every one separated the birds over the winter, as there is time enough to breed all year from December on.
This could be a separate topic as Im really interested to know, a friend of mine up in England called me the other day and in conversation he said he,d rung ybs, I was amazed and asked why? he likes a few winter breds to train and race as old birds, but it seems mental to me.
Im not having a go Knackered Im just really interested to know what other do, as I split mine soon as I can usually about September, and they don't see each other again till December and that's only recently because most years I haven't bred til feb.? So that's 5 months apart. |

| the end of February for me we will start breeding. and young will go on darkness. and we find by the time the young bird racing starts thy are like old birds. ps and its to cold to be standing out there in the winter. |
