Thanks Don I got some inside information here on them  etc & so I'm all clued-up now. No way known could I afford such a thing down here, the way electricity prices are. If they get any dearer I will go live in a tent.

Oodles of it etc Don down here "Sun" trouble is thou, things change when you get a new goverment type of thing. Those that did the right thing in the early days here were given a rebate of 65 cents per       what ever at the time. Now !! it's down to 12 cents & people are really thinking twice whether it's all really worth it sadly.

True Don, it is a shame etc as solar power really has to have a place from my perspective. Greed thou will win in the end I suspect by the power company's as when one thinks about it all where would they be, if we were all on solar energy & pumping more into the system/grid than what we could use type of thing.

knackered, cut the middle men out, deal direct with the national grid.......have their meter removed and your own fitted (by a qualified professional of course} and get your electric a lot cheaper.....after all, we are paying these thieves only to supply it to us, none of them own the cables it comes along....its just that they own the meter.

do your research knackered and find out the truth about energy companies.....gas is the same

Differant strokes for differant folks David. Down here for years we only had the one supply company etc & every thing was A ok . Government then sold it to private enterprize type of thing & the bills now are quite frightning for many people sadly. I'm one of those cash type of people & now they even charge me extra for sending the bill to me to pay & because we now have what they call smart meters here in all the houses it has become a bit of a rip off. Smart for them thou but not for many of the consumers, that sadly have to use them.
