From Fed Topper to Master Chef
The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

been thinking for some time now in buying a few of the old strains like Kirkpatrick 's any members still race them

grand old birds ...along with many others, but most been crossed now I have a pair of the old grooters here from Hammond and whittaker my grandfather used to race these

fancier near me was selling kirkpatricks last year George, think he had some yellow ones or some rare colour.......he doesn't fly in my club , I just saw his advert in the bhw.

George . Edgie who used to be on here as some good old distance birds I read somewhere he had some top results this year on very hard days?

Yes Rick Edgies has had a great season with yearlings, they were raced as youngsters on the north road than he moved house again and turned them round on south route and from what he has said he has won 2 or 3 x 1sts and a few other prizes and been on the Fed sheet also
You can't moan winning in both sprint and distance races with distance pigeons
