Sad well having problems. When they have hatched two eggs the smaller ones have died. Then the first one that hatched was doing great and then they dont seem to be bothering with it . So i have been feeding it porridge. I seen an adult with it yesterday but they dont seem to feed it. Also went before and i thought another one had died it was cold but when i picked it up it was still alive , so i have got it warming it up . It has got a full crop. So what am i doing wrong confused i have the secound one hatch she only hatched one ,that one is doing well.

crop may be full of water will stay like that until solid food is fed then will start to grow it can also happen if cock has taken up with another hen or you moved the eggs under this pair too late another thing I remember from years ago was told if birds don't feel the eggs chipping then again they will have no milk and last thing there are latebreds nothing but trouble
