this last week I have noticed a yearling cock driving away a 5year old cock from the feed hopper at feeding time ,this yearling only targets this one bird not any others ...he hates him for some reason ,I wonder whats going through his head anyone else ever had this ...first time for me ,had cocks fighting but not singling out a specific bird constantly... you can see him looking for him every feed time

was the bird who is being bullied the top bird in the loft at one time Darren, or did it attack the angry bird when it was younger...?

no they never met before david until about 3 months ago when I put the young cocks over to claim boxes...could work to my advantage come racing season

if i was you daz i should hold onto the young cock or box him while the older one has his feed for a few days untill he gets it in his head if he fights no food these cold nights will soon nock the fight out of him and it will give the older cock a bit more convidence

yeah I did this last 2 nights mark ...hopefully he will calm down and get the message ,very soon they will be paired up and then be fed is their boxes until next autumn ,thanks for yer input mark

I've got the same thing Darren I've got a blue cock that won't let a grizzle land on the floor in the loft.
The grizzle waits for me to go in the loft last thing at night to fly down to get a drink.
These 2 can fight for 5 minutes or more at a time,
On the house roof the floor the trap, anywhere.
Sometimes they are so into the fight I can go and pick them up on the lawn and split them up.
The blue has the edge in the loft and the grizzle has the edge outside.
