May I suggest Devo Smile Smile talk to the local pigeon men as such & learn the patterns of hawks & how they hunt in your area. Patience is a verture Wink Wink I've found & much of the times our birds are out flying etc it's not really required "As much as we may like it" overall in the big picture. cheers

Yes Daz, i have broke the bad news to the parents of these youngsters, and told them they need to work harder at breeding a few stealth youngsters. They need to think outside the box, and breed some youngsters that go under the radar. lol! lol! lol! lol!

PostSubject: Re: What a bad day   What a bad day - Page 2 EmptyTue Mar 15, 2016 2:46 pm

Two of mine escaped from the look out and had a night out Sunday. Fog cleared yesterday late afternoon so let the YB.s out. Fog rolled back in and 6 had a night out. Rained last night. So let out the yearlings this morning. Dull day light rain.
Did the night outers learn anything? Or just lucky not to be owl bait? Think lucky! Not too interested in racing young birds so not too worried about numbers.
Spring!!!!
