rick if its not on the list its not banned but this can be very vague its the ingredients that must not be on the banned list

shippys right its the ingredients only has to be 1 eliment on the list many many products out their on the banned list

I would doubt if any one checks, over here anyway. If a person has to drug his/her birds to win then sad state of affairs.
Of course, bromhexine is for mucous CRD etc, in cough syrups. Lots of fresh air is cheaper!

Same, same here Hal (no checks) I've even seen one of the Gurus here advise etc of the benefits of using Broxhexine cough syrup for the birds, while racing. May just have to get some advice from my local guru Vet if that is, I can get a morgage on my house as such.

In the big picture Shippy at least that's some thing etc. Over all thou, the odds are working  in favour of those that stretch the boundarys as such, come race day I suspect.

Short answer Rick it has to be Yes unfortunately. I doubt any organisation has full control of this situation, sadly. Hyperthectical query "Where is spell ckeck" . I know a man 6 foot tall & 250 lbs & for 20 odd years for health reasons he has taking an Aspro a day for the thrill etc. Now !!!, lets just say by chance he gave his little flock/mob of 250 odd pigeons the same thrill 1 Aspro as such a day, would do you think he should be classed as an out & out cheat for the record books. I suspect things being so crazy in this area now, the answer would be Yes I suspect.

Just read the book Rick A to Z of banned substances on that other site . Writing by a scientist for another scienist I suspect etc but the average pigeon flyer shouldn't have any problems, comprehending the gist of the story there. Fortunately, if one sticks to water & a few peas as such, one should be able to race quite successfully I imagine without any fear.

We need some think simple, more up to date likes this. I feel myself there is a very limited view of the sport in laymans terms.

Depends whats in the water Shippy,

Lots of stuff in there that I use for my arthritis, stuff in there for the wife's blood pressure, and stuff for my grand-daughters heart condition, I'm quids in if any wants to buy

We could be on a good thing here Shippy if us of the senior brigade here, include our wifes etc in regards to the selling of our pills/potions. Could be a chance to die rich.

Keep well away from the water trick it will kill you unless there is some black label mixed with it etc I suspect. I twigged    on our list of banned items no Cobalt mentioned there which is causing all sorts of problems with the horse racing industry down here with quite a few well known trainers having recreational leave for quite a few years now as such & even Peter Moody the trainer of Black Caviar has been found guilty of stretching the friendship so to speak, thou not by the waffle coming out of his mouth today & his fate is still to be determined by those wielding the big stick here. So after that bit of news maybe just an amendment is required & cobalt added to the list, one could suggest.
