they shimmer in any light so long as theirs a bit of wind and keep sparrowhawks away ,never had a sparrowhawk attack around the loft but then we never leave the birds on their own ,just a precaution that seems to work along with a cd of eagle owl calls

yeah, I think the shimmer/glare does help against hawk attacks Darren, ive used mirrors for the last couple of years and it seems to keep the hawks away pretty much.

Yes sparrowhawks can be a real killer to pigeons. I one had a sparrowhawk case a pigeon up a drain pipe and if I hadn't have been there, I think it would have got it.

They are SOooooo fast as well.

I hope you never seen one around your lofts.

they are about but never for too long phil they seem to hastle the neighbouring lofts more than mine but then I only ever have a small team compaired to theirs and when they land their in so in the sky or in the loft here
