lovely evening got the cocks off for a 20 miler they were all in the loft when we got home which is always a relief with peregrines about ,been hearing off local lofts they are hunting ybs around the roof tops which is unusual maybe the ones who have been provided nest sites in citys are adapting ...when will they stop messing with nature

was just going to let mine out, but noticed a hawk hovering about......waited 10 mins then saw it again, so cocks didn't go out.

Good move David I let my old hens out this afternoon etc & when I fed them in to-night one was ripped down the back type of thing. That's 2% that will miss a toss next week when I start them all off here. Amazing what some birds will do just to get out of a toss. Weather wise today, it just made it to 15 degrees & it was the coldest day for the month type of thing.

yes david sending 7 cocks to Portland my first race on widowhood and the cocks first race too they had a good toss today ...may send a few hens too as a warm up for the following weeks channel race
