| Thanks Kev I'm still more interested in the older (stronger) strains like the kirkys and old dordins tho I'd feel the same if i was buying off of Louella I guess Hit and miss (scrathes head) |

What do you think of the birds from Henry Muir.
Just trying to get as much info on them as poss,
Anything on them would do
thanks in advance
Daryl In 2005 I bought 6 Ybs from Henry Mair as I wanted to dabble in very long distance races, he said to me to give them some work as Ybs but dont be too hard on them and as yearlings you can just jump them in to the longer races,( fit of course) and they will navigate home. I lost two off the roof but the other 4 flew 2 channel races each and showed promise as yearlings, but I never got chance to try them properly as 2yolds as I went to Alberta Canada before ending up in the Algarve, I left my birds with a friend of mine in blackpool in a Big aviary so that was the end of their racing careers. |

- Hi david No this will it my first year back in the sport was just wondering how Daryl did with them I'm looking for the exteme distance pigeons what strains do you fly mate ?
daryl hasnt been on for ages gaz Hi everyone , im back one of the birds we got from Henry was entered into the International Kalimanci one loft race in Bulgaria Under the name Team Pigeon Force SU (Scotland) the results can be viewed here http://www.pigeon-bg.com/archiv.php?lang=enWe finaly came 49th ace pigeon with one of our birds flying under the British flag one of GB birds had some very good results. My personal opinion of Henrys Lionhearts is that i will be buying more of his birds this year to put to in my new loft, i beleve that if trained right these birds can give good results, Out of the two i got both were flown from my loft then one was sent to the one loft race (not ideal i know) and the other was trained all last year by its new owner with great results and put to stock this year to hopefully produce some winners this year. ill let you know how they go. How did you do with yours ??? Daryl |
