Returns this week 27/8

We had a difficult race this weekend, less than 30% home at clock checking.

I did ok compared to most members having 12 from 21 home, had 3 since but none today so 6 down and not really expecting them.

How were returns for other site members on what seemed to be a tricky day ?

We raced Bath yesterday 163,miles libbed @7.20 got our 1st bird@12.40 we got 4/14 not a feather today speaking to other members who had 3/22, 2/19 and a couple who had nothing that's us finished now this season. There was another lib @Bath went @7,o'clock yesterday and they were doing it in 3,hrs 22,minutes.

we got 2/4 today about 20% returns in our club took 4 hours 7 mins to do 110 mile derby into the west country libbed at 12.15 only 8 members clocked i think 13/14 members sent was expecting a holdover as our organisation covers Cheltenham down to Dorchester we had heavy down pours through the afternoon and further south was worse the shorter flyers would have faired a bit better maybe ...hope yer birds work back lads

its the same in this area 3 feds poor results

we had another this morning just 1 to come now very hungry otherwise fine and no doubt gained valuable experience

we got him this morning david just aswell we feed our ybs to home not to race else I don't think he would have made it as he has lost a lot of bodyweight but we are glad to see him 4/4 from sundays smash race birds reported in cumbria and north wales for fellow clubmates on the evening of the race just glad to get them all back that's me done for the season

david we never dropped a bird racing so all in all very pleased with your van reets ....thanyou so much for your gift earlier this year of 15 ybs ...10 still in the loft a massive thanks from me and little Alfie

yes the van reets didn't do bad did they, to say they were natural birds later bred......will be interesting to see how a team of them do on darkness eh...
