- did you sort out the crackling phill
Hi Edgie and the rest of the members.
I have been busy crossing that bit of damp stuff between us and Frog-land the past few weeks.
Yesterday was the anniversary of my Liver Transplant and I have to organise quite a few meeting with different specialist doctors before I go back to Rennes hospital at the end of October for my BIG check-up.
I have to have a BIG check-up once a year at Rennes hospital as well as 3 monthly check-ups with my doctor.
I think I must have not explained the noise I hear from a couple of my birds if they are frightened or feeling uneasy, very well. However, I only hear this noise when I pick them up.
It is not a crackle like someone with asthma might have or someone with a crackly throat has. It is more like a 'thump' or 'thud'. You know sometimes if you are feeling a bit chesty, the doctor puts the palm of his hand on your chest of back - then taps the back of His Hand with a finger, it makes a dull thud - well that is the kind of noise I mean.
I really don't think it is anything respiratory because I am training my birds quite hard now, and they are coming really well, with good times and full returns. NO breathing problems at all!
Remember I have very late bred birds, that need some training, the year of their birth! That is why I am training my birds now.
I don't really know how to explain the noise any better. But thanks for asking.
Have a good one - everyone.
