What do you think of this!

As you may know - we are stuck between England and France.

We have a property in France that we have had on the market for a little while - well actually 3 years!

We have been living in Glos at the house that belongs to my wife's Dad who died at the beginning of this year. That is also on the market and the proceeds of the sale of that house, will go into my wife's Dad's estate and will be split between her and her two brothers and other family members.

Last week, we had an offer on our place in France, which we accepted and we thought everything would go along smoothly.

However, this morning, we had a TEXT from the guy who wanted to by our French house saying "after thinking about it, he no longer want to buy a house at all".

Of course, he is entitled to do what he wants, but to send a text, when he has our telephone number is a bit crap, I think! Or is it OK these days to TEXT people serious news like that?

Maybe I am old fashioned.

spineless response that ...I always like to talk with any matters hate this text and e-mail lark its so distant ,talking in person you can get more of a idea of a situation or individual or direct answer pirat

Phil. Has the decision by the UK to opt out of Europe have any bearing on it? Maybe the person wants it cheaper?

The decision to pull out of the EU happened a long time before the guy came to see our property, Hal, so no, I don't think was it.

I think he is just a twit, that doesn't know his own mind.

It isn't that he changed him mind so much - we were getting a Deed of Sale written up my a lawyer and were waiting for his deposit.

The thing that gets to us - is the fact that he told us by TEXT - as has been said before - what a spineless little turd to do it like that.

He has NO nuts I guess.

Still, we live to face another day. The right person will come along soon.
