The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

which do you consider the cleverer pigeon , the sprinter or the distance pigeon ?,i think the distance as it has to find its way home over more terrain and probably on its own .

I think I would agree with that edgie, a distance bird would have more in its head than a sprinter....im not into distance racing , I have mainly sprint pigeons, but do admire a bird that can fly many hours to get home.

I agree but sprint is harder to win as it's so intense. But I do prefer the distance and that's why I am building a new team up to get back into it
