| where do you place your drinker in the loft , I think it is best off the floor it does not get contaminated as easy , I put mine on up turned milk crates , and on shelves of the ground but I also put two bits of wood under the drinker so there is an air flow , it stops damp patches that you don't want , these can be a breeding ground for deseases |

| Knocked up a couple of stands, all the drinkers are about 6inches off the floors |

I think a lot of people use cable reels Darren. I wouldn't have room for cable reels - although I think they are a great idea. Phil |

| OK - I have another question that has come out of the comments we have had.
If you lift the drinker/s up off the floor - 2 inches or 6 - HOW much room do you give the birds around the drinker?
I used to have my drinkers on a self made' stand in one corner. The plinth was about 3 inches bigger all-round than the drinker. I found that one cock would try and dominate the drinker, and there was no room for 2 drinkers.
