- why not give this a try it may work for you ,vaccinate at 24 days old , feed Gerry plus , squeeze lemon juice on to corn every second day, twice a week give them clay block crushed with minerals , I use rhonfried pink and red grit mixed well , and I know it don't look good but I put a 3ins layer of easibed down on the floor ,and it stays down I never clean them out till end of moult don't do perches either , as long as it is dry and good ventilation , this way you are giving them natural immunity ,if one goes off it , get rid look after the healthy ones as good pigeons don't get poorly ,you will finish up with a family of birds tough as old boots , it may take a season or two but the birds will only get better
Edgie can I add to this I have noticed YBS the lofts that don't seam to suffer from it are lofts that don't clean out which allows the immune to work and stay stronger JMO But Frank Tasker never cleaned out and believed it helped and he never had YBS |
