| just been looking at pigeons for sale on a well known site , I wonder how many have been raced and are not good enough , or never even flown out ? , some strains I have never heard of , and certainly loads relying on there paper work ? to get ridd .  |

| yes edgie, its that time of year again we clear our crap out.......a piece of paper is a very good selling point with some fanciers, regardless of performance. |

| yes a lot of so called fashionable breeds will be on sale with all exscuses behind them for selling  makes you laugh as to what people are thinking as all these modern breed names have derived from yesteryear  I still think a good janssen will hold its own in any company up to 400 miles  |

| Beats me why people buy birds all the time. They probably have just as good.
Just a question of acing them and strict culling. For most anyway. No doubt a good cross will help with hybrid vigour if family is closed. |

| We buy every year to try and improve on what we already have.obviously we keep our winning families ect but you have to see if you can get better or you will get left behind...its tbe same with medication you have to do it every year and as often as the top flyers or you will not win anything |

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
