| When racing natural if you lose 1 bird of a pair how would you go about racing the one bird that is left. As i lost a cock bird the other day and the hen has been sitting pot eggs only coming of to eat and fly. Not sure if i should race her tomorrow or try to pair her to one of my breeders first |

You race her John when she is ready to pair to another cock she will mate
Or better still you might be able to run 1 cock with 2 hens I had a yealing cock catch pair to a spare hen who lost her cock the yearling was running between two boxes any cock bird go in either box he was in there after them it kept him on his toes That yearling cock won 4 firsts that year and 5 other prizes so gives you something to think about hey John Better still throw an old stock cock in the section on a friday night for 20 mins |
