Same, same one hopes it finishes up all OK for our Phil etc. When one thinks of those type people rorting the system as such the specialist type folk that work on Phil's type accident deserve every penny they get from my perspective. Amen to that Knackered - the surgeon was amazing - really neat work I think and he was right there for me - NO waiting - well maybe 15 minutes, but that is the way in France. If one needs to be seen quickly, one gets to be seen quickly. That is just about the only good thing about France - you get immediate medical help if it is needed. Take my Liver Transplant for example - I only had 8 days to live without a new liver, and they found me one in THREE days. That would never happen in the UK, don't know about Oz or Canada. Hospital visit this morning at 09:00 hours, we will be able to tell more after that. Have a great one everybody and all the best to those who are racing this weekend. Phil |

| So here is the gory stuff:- I have returned from the hospital where they changed the bandages on my fingers. This was the first time I had a chance for a good look at what I had done. Images below. Do NOT scroll down if you are squeamish.Notice the very shiny false nails that had to be fitted as I had basically destroyed my real ones. I am not sure if I will keep the silicon nails for ever, or whether the real nails will ever grow again. Happy days! Phil |
