Whats the best position anyone has came flying our feathered friends? Have we any combine winners on this forum? Mine was coming 7th in the old bird Abbeville north east greater distance club many moons ago, think it was about 1992, our hen came over with the eventual 1st winner and she circled and lost time, remember seeing the winner in the 'Racing Pigeon' with his trophy at the presentation doo, we came so near yet were so far'...Grrrrr

Very Happy I had a hen years ago won 1st club, 2nd fed, just missed out on 1st fed. But when she arrived a hawk startled her and she stayed on the roof for 10 minutes, the one that got away goodness knows what she would have won if she had come in..lol Her sister also won .
But my best result wasnt a win, I had a bird won 3x 2nd club and 3x 3rd club, and was one of only 3 birds home on day from a disaster race dover 277 miles and came home in a gale and raining thats my favourite result.
