| Top Three Report ” Hot Spot Two “ August 19th, 2017 Mark James – Holding the Sire of 1st Open Rpra One Loft Hot Spot Two. Hi Jeremy I would like to thank you and all involved with the RPRA one loft race as I am over the moon with winning the second hot spot race. The pigeon that won is breed down from direct Heremans – Ceusters via eijerkemp in Holland and they are breed via the lines of Jackpot and Di Caprio these lines have produced winners in the past for me. Dave Foxwell Above wins 2nd Open this being also another Hereman Ceusters which he brought in 2014. Dave has raced at the same address since 1974 , 2nd Open in the Rpra One Loft has been a great bonus to the 2017 season. Smith & Pitman above this partnership has had many outstanding performances over the years in One loft racing and also domestic racing they won the Ace pigeon a few years ago in this race. The 3rd Open pigeon was bred from a direct Paul Stobbs pairing which is a Soontjon /Hofken-cross. |

What do they say David - "You've got to be in it, to win it" - And you guys still have TWO chances. I must have missed out on all the info:- 1. Where did the birds that were sent, come from? 2. How did members get involved? 3. What did it cost per member? 4. Will the same type of thing be run next year? 5. Are there any plans to compete in any other One Loft Races next year It sounds like a great idea to me - I can't understand why I missed all the goings-on. Phil |

Why Tumley lofts bird? - did they donate it? Surly members would have as good birds in their lofts - I know I do for sure. Phil |

| tumley pays for advertising on the forum phil, by way of supplying a pair of pigeons, which we normally gave as a prize for best performance etc....but rather than offer them as a prize again (partly due to an ungrateful previous winner) we decided as a forum, with all members giving an opinion, that we would rather use the pair of birds to enter into the rpra one loft.
I do have a copy of both birds pedigrees somewhere on my emails that mark evans sent me, but at the time couldn't down load them to post on the forum, if I can get my daughter to spare 10 mins one day I will try do it.
I personally would be interested in another forum syndicate next season, maybe we could attract more members to join in, and maybe enter more birds........ |

| Thank you David for all that information.
I have no idea why I missed everything. Maybe I was having one of my 'funnies'.
I really like the idea of doing what the forum has done re A One Loft race and would certainly be interested in getting involved myself next year.
However - and I don't want this to sound hard or big headed on my part. But I have birds here at stock that are as good as, if not better than anything Tumley have. I would be happy to donate one of my babies from next year's batches if members thought that was a good idea.
I have some excellent birds from several of the Vandenabeele lines, which came from M & D Evans top birds. I have one particular cock called 'Young Amir' which has bred a few winners already. Two of his, 2017 sons which we have, have beaten the French National Champion, once by 19 metres a minute and the other, by nearly 10 minutes. We also have some new-ish stock birds from the Olympic Vandenabeele lines of Mr Olympic and Olympic 500. These are already winning in Scotland and Ireland.
I am sure members will also have top birds that they would be able to donate.
We, as a Forum, could also get involved with other One Loft races, if we chose to. I know the owners of The French Young Bird Derby and could contact them, if members thought it was a good idea.
Anyway just some food for thought for next year when we will be back in the UK and be able to help and get involved a lot more.
Cheers and I hope this weekend's racing goes well for members.

| very interesting post phil, and food for thought certainly...I am happy to be part of any one loft syndicate next season, as long as we have two or three members willing to help out re application / payments etc, and communicating with the one loft organisers etc.
would give our members plenty of time to think it over for next season. |
