Band Collectors

is there any pigeon leg band collectors out there? i have been collecting off and on over the years, got bands from around the world

I don't collect yet, but I would like to get into the hobby someday.

i enjoy it, you get to talk to people from all over. i don't buy bands that i collect just do trades. if you want i could send you a few to get you started

So - excuse the newbie question - is there any specific type of bands that you collect, like, special ones or somethin? Or do you just collect random bands as a way of showing how many pigeons you've owned...?

i collect racing bands from different racing unions, i have a few from other organizations but mainly racing pigeons

Looks like a cool site! I'm not on facebook either, so...

I don't collect but can imagine it to be interesting collecting from other countries ect..I have a few old ones lying about and that's it

I have a few 2017 French rings if anybody would like them.

When I saw Band Collectors as the Title, I thought we were in for some Rock and Roll.

You often see ring collectors writing in the BHW to exchange or wanting contributions and maybe anyone interested could contact those.

However, the rings I liked best were on my favourite pigeons and stayed with them till the end.

i would gladly pay the postage or trade if that's something you would be interested in

trade ummmm a few pelts should do it your more than welcome just pay postage I have them from every year from 2010 to 2018 also a few welsh ones and some ss ones

we used to have a member who hasn't been on for a couple of years his user name was sky tx, an older pigeon fancier from the usa......he was an avid collector of pigeon rings, here are a couple of photos I found on his collection.

right, i've seen pics of them before but don't have one. do you want anything extra for that one?

their not mine morb I was just commenting on it ,I would imagine that one would be very rare and worth a few pennies ...the one I have are GB rings from different unions atb

Each to their own Misty . Truth be told thou I have a reputation some what, here of some repute of flying year in year out  some of the oldest pigeons to race on record .

Many Europeans here. Get bands from there from friends. Ring youngster with them. Sell them as imports.
