help needed

would any members on the site possably have a good picture of one of the old canisters that they used in the war to put on a pigeons leg to deliver the messages as my two daughters are going to be doing a talk on the pigeons of war on may the 9th here in Guernsey on our liberation from the Germans

sorry mate,looked all over and cant find anything for you,found a bird with a camera on it but no canister as yet.

thanks for the replys guys think ive managed to sort it all out now its just a case of fingers crossed that we have a lovely day for the liberation of the birds and for the girls to do thier talk on the pigeons of war
