| What you did Darren was nothing less than amazing.
All fanciers who have children should try and get their children's schools interested in this amazing sport.
For children it is particularly valuable because it teaches them to care for something other than themselves. Also it is life in fast motion - young pigeons grow up so quickly, so children can see the different stages of the baby pigeon growth, without waiting too long.
All-in-all - it is a very good thing you have done Darren and well done to young Alfie as well.

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
