| longest day yesterday, have members took their ybs off darkness ...? I started mine a week late, so im planning on leaving them another week, for what difference it makes... |

| As you may be aware, mine are on the lazy light system. Put the timer on the same hours as the longest day 7 days ago or so. Just first 2 hours then off then last 2 hours. They all look fine to me. December hatched and up until March. First time trying this. So far so good. |

| The same applies to the darkness system as the widowhood, if everyone is doing it then there is no advantage and who knows if this method does not affect the best pigeons adversely. or all come to that.
It must play hovock with the pigeons natural sequence of moulting and cannot possibly be of any advantage to the pigeons well being.
Iam afraod that any young intelligent person with a decent appreciation of nature would be impressed with many of the methods adopted by the win at any cost brigade.
It should be a pleasure for both fanmcier and pigeon alike, not using them as Robots.

| Light system or dark system. Young moult out later. They DO win as yearlings! Same as a wild pigeon will race as good as a calm pigeon. You are behind the times! |

| we took ours off after 9 weeks on the dark so took ours off gradually 2 weeks ago their pairing up now so that should hold the wing to ,good luck with the light system hal |
