Saturday 1/9/18 carentan final race all members are invited to these racers especially the final where a buffet and barbeque will be available |

| a bit like a stab in the dark at this stage ah mark, very little info coming from the people running it.....so I guess its just a case of pot luck.
I`m happy to pool something if others are, but we have no money in the pot, so how would it work ...? |

Maybe anyone interested puts in an agreed amount each (maybe £10 just as an example) and it gives us a pot to play around with, cover our entries with something each hotspot? |

| Knackered, I know I could always borrow a few bob from you from your remarks, but I have never taken money from the sport, I know all people have different attitudes towards many things and mine towards money and the sport has always been that I get out of it what I put in many times over in pleasure and any winnings either remained in the club or was given to charity.
I never pooled and at times I had to struggle for the upkeep of the pigeons following a serious road accident but I never went back on my belief.
I would not mind having a go at the one loft set up but any winnings would be made out to St Catherines Hospice.
I know it takes all sorts but that is my feeling.
The saying 'Money is the root of all evil' is not far off the mark.

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
