How true are the words of Jesus when saying 'What if you gain the whole world … yet die tomorrow. Better to save up … etc .

You have to consider all the facts when considering how much people are paid for their services.


There are very few footballers in comparison to nurses, doctors or any other service.


There are very few footballers with Bales ability, which will only be of a very limited extent due to age etc;


The amount offered by China is in general terms appears beyond common sense, but it is a one off, and ALL footballers are paid stupid wages, however, reducing them would not change the low pay etc; for our public servants, none of the money would go to anything other than the sport involved.


What amazes me is if it was suggested that income tax was raised to increase the wages of public servants, which is the only way it could be achieved ????????.

Mind if e decides on China, he has a £20 million given him, tax free I believe, welcome aboard, not counting his £1million weekly wage.

He can only be in one place at a time, eat so much, drink so much and indulge in anything that costs money, what he cannot guarantee is happiness.

Just look at numerous idiots ruining their lives through the miss use of wealth.


We should be more concerned about more important matters.
