Boy oh boy etc what have I down to have play out here what is happening as such to start my week off. Mentioned to the missus a bunch of Sudanese thug types are about to set sail in a boat type of thing & are looking for free board & lodging for a week or so & all is Ok fortunately/thankfully I'm told by her that is if they are just happy to live on tripe for there total stay here for their main meal & bread & dripping as an extra treat . Also inside toilet here out of bounds I'm told by my other half, especially for any old folk making the trip & they just have to use the outside dunny down the back & share it with the snakes & red back spiders there which call it home through out the night    . Final word also by the missus     any one under 10 just maybe making the trip     will be treated like a king & will sleep inside also & will have much different type meals supplied through out their stay, which will make all the old folk cringe with total despair, while they all sleep outside out under the stars for their stay here    .   

Wonderful Knackered would be just like back home.

Yep, reminds me of them long trips to outside toilets lol.
Dad did convert ours to be inside … still froze over though.
Mates had a shared toilet by 3 families. When frozen the D**p rose well. Out side tap was also frozen of course! Golly they used 'Next Door's' which cause heated debates, but not heated enough to unfreeze the icey toilets. Ot they hopped over the wall into the alley lol. No wonder he moved to Australia

Got me thinking Daz.

Outside toilets, bath hung on the wall, all family used same water, last one in dirtier than going in, pots for night toilet use, gas mantles, battery and accumulators for wireless, milk delivered by hand and straight from the cow, walk to school, etc; etc;

Rough and ready would not have changed my childhood for anything and in particular the circumstances prevailing now.

Missus & I etc Misty went all out to make you all feel welcome, when you land & may drop in for a stay down here . Even prepared to place a large pot of porridge out doors for any that miss breakfast & then turn up for 11 isis as they say . Generous type also my wife is here as she suggested the left overs, after 11 isis  every one can just have cold for lunch as they say. Final word water costs a absolute fortune here to buy & is rather scarce & so she suggested, you all could wash & bath in the creek down below our plot next & where the crocodile warning signs are for those that wash & may like a swim  .

Brought back memories for me here Hal of the first 2 story pigeon loft I ever saw when a wee lad. Pigeons had a wooden floor there, but the owner, lived in a timber type humpy as such with more holes in the walls than a sieve & also a dirt floor for luxury . No electricity either & only one garden tap next to the dunny outside for all washing also etc. Strange thing is I went bush 30 odd years later for a toss by the side of a river & who turned up but the man in question for a friendly chat. Had to be 90 odd years old then if a day & he lived by the river side there in a caravan, for the enjoyment factor & a wee bit of fishing    .
