| Cost £63 first time. An electric fence. I have placed it all around the garden. It goes from under my bedroom window over the conservatory Over the gates (also well wired) on the fence down to the out house / work shed. Over the loft all the way round to the fence the other side. Along a wall and where I have a green house for Joyce and along, around to under my Bedroom. I put three wires over the loft from side to side. Had a flipping cat sit aside the fence looking through. I have a 6 foot wire mesh fence on top of that wall, as on all walls! So I ran an extension on that and told Alex, my neighbour to be careful. later disconnected that, but left the wire there. Never ever had a cat problem since. Mind when I built this loft, the Electric fence was taken down … pigeons having been removed to a mates spare loft … Cats galore were on my garden straight off - four adjacent owners. As quick as I laid the concrete floor I had cat paw marks pressed in the concrete. Crap in the garden as they set their territories. I soon set mine when completely built … well before actually lol. That was when I see them over the gardens looking at my loft. That was when that one sat on the wall looking through! that all changed over night. Plus it is perfectly legal. Knew of some that would rub fish oil on wire... waste of time as not needed. Some same that they can smell the electricity. I don't know, a bit like the saying 'Pigs an se the wind'! Well maybe, maybe not, could just be that they don't like it blowing into their eyes!? Once jotted they stay clear of the wire. Sorry, have had one cat on the loft roof once... dropped in off a tree branch... golly it wasn't happy trying to get off the roof, and have never seen it since. |

| I think, by the looks of the perches, the end facing want a lot of paint or so to fill the. J.M.O. As I feel they will need doing soon then later. Cold and damp can and will get in for sure otherwise. |
