| Well returns, on the whole, seem pretty good. As I say, believe, the 'Training' that they have missed doesn't seem to have hurt them none. See some reports of birds doing 2300 ypm! Yes must have a following wind, but ... |

| Every training toss is a possible hazard, plenty of good birds lost doing so.

| Well yes, losses are and have always been part and parcel to our sport. I wager that there will certainly not be a bigger losses- or times - this season. However I realise this couldn't be argued as a certainty! That will/would have to be over a few seasons when much is and has been taken into account for sure.
But I can and do take passed experiences on board. Over the years, a proven fact is, that losses were no where near the percentages as of today... which has stead got worst over the decades. Having more pairs of pigeons than nest boxes allowed and nigh all fanciers flew the whole programme from start to finish.
Daces were used as trainers in as much as pigeons were sent to certain lib sites, with another race being the target they wished to win / excel at! No training for old birds or youngsters. they went straight into the 1st or 2nd race.
