Finally did it.

40 pigeons went today. Life will be much less of a hassle now. Can tame them now. Lots of whites and grizzles. Some went as did some old favourites but cannot live in the past.

Big clean-out. Loft looks bare! DE on floor.

Think you did the right thing keeping a few Hal.

Can assure you life ain't the same without them after keeping them most of your life.

Still got 16 pair. Whites and grizzles about 23. Gave 6 away. Whites. Quite happy now. Of course few hid and I missed them! Smart. They can stay. Already getting enquiries for next years young whites. Apparently one yearling I banded for a guy got him 2nd club last week. All Tmaks reds for the most part in the family. Few different for hybrid vigour. Ganus birds off a friend. All raced here. (except some whites.) No prisoners for quite a few years, Cannot beleive so many off white stray AU hen! Daughters, grand daughters now. Snowflake family.
Friend I gave them to brought me a bag of corn. Maize. Small and cleaned. Wheat next when harvested in a few weeks.
