Two old dogs. Just back in from moving their joints.
My wife and I keep fit by stepping over them all the time!

They look like they’ve got a hard life Hal.
They’ll be on critter duty later, after their nap. Sleep

Just one problem Hal, they look underfed ????.

On a more serious note, it is a great pity that we
often have to say goodbye to them long before
we would wish to.

Maybe I am daft but can still have a cry when I think of the
times I had with my four legged friends, asked for nothing
gave everything.

Could write a book that no one would believe, can still see
Kims eyes looking at me with all the trust in the world, unbeatable
reliable friend.

Regards.

the one we have now is our third bull terrier, the two previous ones both lived to be around 17 years old, and were both around 3 to 4 years old when we rescued them.........our current female was one year old when we rescued her, and we will have had here 8 years 1st august ( time flies darren, remember when i asked you your opinion on taking her on ....LOL)

she sleeps upstairs with us, and even though she is still wild, has been such a good , loving dog ........we always treat them as family, and would never even consider parting with them.

These two have killed coons, cats whatever threatened the birds. besides being so loving.
One is on cannabis oil and seems to be holding his own if not improving.
Only reason I will put them down is if they are in perpetual pain. And I cannot relieve it.
The Border collie may improve when the weather cools.
I was at the doctors week ago. Next visit two months. Hospital yesterday routine blood test. Doc asked the usual. "How you feeling?"
Told him fine usual aches and pains.
Did not tell him about erratic mood swings. Yet beleive it or not, the two older dogs picked up the changes and are sticking very close to me now. Ummm..food for thought.

Same regarding mood swings Hal.

Can get upset at things I would previously ignore.
.

Can fall asleep standing up.

Do not know if Misty picks up on it, the wife certainly does.

Regards.
