yes i agree misty, the thing that makes me angry is we pay car excise licence to the DVLA , yet they pay nothing towards the upkeep of our roads ........its local councils / highways dept who maintain them from tax on petrol and taxes .

"road tax" / excise licence money is just another government tax we pay them , and nothing to do with maintaining our roads .

I wish I'm old school etc David I actually had to go out & work my **** off, I'm   to get my first car here .

didnt know what my first car was going to be knackered, i was 18 and didnt have a clue about cars ........my older brother said he knew of one for sale, i gave him £300 and he came back an hour later with a vauxhall

had that car for years, loved it .......

Learnt a good lesson here David the first car I bought unfortunately     Being, never trust a car salesman type Whose interest is only his own self interest come the end of the day    .
