Had a restless night so got up and whilst looking for the Sky renewal information found a little book I have and a folded page brought my attenton to it.

Paul said that people would be (talking of the latter days prior to ARMAGEDDON :-

Well, how can religious leaders be believed? When speaking a mass of untruths?
Embellishing own thoughts with deceits and cunning. Tickling the very ears of genuine ones that want to know, to understand God's purposes and promises?

Must be hard for the vast majorities, when clergy spout their own misunderstandings and make-believes. Using miss quotes to em-broaden their' downright lies, deep in pagan beliefs and rituals and rites and embellishing the faith with pagan traditions, ceremonies and signs and wearing regalia promoting paganism with false solemn faces of self-importance. So far from - not only truths but reality. No wonder most turn away from their lies and deceits they make a mockery of truth!

Reminds me of Acts 18. V 24, which states: Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, arrived in Ephesus; he was an eloquent man who was well-versed in the Scriptures. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of Jehovah, and aglow with the spirit, he was speaking and teaching accurately the things about Jesus, but he was acquainted only with the baptism of John. 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, and when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him into their' company and explained the way of God more accurately to him.
So he was, though genuine, brought to task.

God at John 3 16 simply states 'For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. 17. For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him'!

Promising at John CH.3 V 17 'This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ'.

Churches acquired of the likes of Jesus, St. Paul, or Peter etc. etc. Get real!
There is only one God, and only his name to follow that matters
