Now if one bought 12 or so - 20 for £100 then the lofts - pigeons lung etc. Healthy birds. A fiver a bag eh!

I once - working, got containers in from Australia. It had those little bags to keep every thing dry.
My mates house etc and rooms, were damp. The bags dried them up a treat. Could put them near a fire to dry out every so often ... I never needed to use in my loft, or house fortunately. But would have been great if so needed. 13 years ago, since i retired, and his says that they are still working a treat.

Often think, no honestly lol, many fanciers spend loads on whims, Names advertising etc. that are a complete and utter waste. Yes $1000's. And yet won't even consider many worthwhile aids. Electric fence. Less than a hundred pounds means never having a cat near the birds. Yes some prefer dogs... limited though. But then dogs may serve other purposes, like safe guarding from unwanted 'People' etc.
Personally, if I had birds that might interest another unscrupulous body, I would have both.

Legal here! If the wire goes outside of your property, then one must put a Warning sign up.

On own fence, in garden etc. no problem.
