21 young birds recently sold on elimar in their weaning section, awaiting collection .......had to do a bit of quick alterations to make it safe for them, didnt want them being badly hurt with the old cocks ......

unbelievable, just had a phone call from les parkinson who owns/runs elimar ..........surprise, surprise, the man who bid and won all three of my auctions has suddenly split up from his wife, and has to sell all his pigeons , so my ybs will have to be re listed for auction again.

somehow i think hes telling a load of lies, truth is hes spent over 600 quid, and the wife has kicked off ...........

bad news david, hopefully someone else who had an eye on them will jump in. if he has split up then all the more reason to buy pigeons I would reckon , cheer himself up

they`ve got bids on them again, probably make less money this time, but hey ho, main thing is they sell .........have blocked this person from bidding in the future ......

yeah well elimar should step up on things like that ,i mean what if you got lumbered with 20ybs you did not want ,should be banned from bidding on elimar and elimar should make up the difference of purchase if there is one but these auction sites have it all covered to suit themselves ,at least they all got bids back on eh ,atb

Trouble is  at the moment no one knows what the next day will bring.


Does not excuse idiots making false bids.


But a poor time for selling with all the  uncertainty.


The young ones look sound and are well bred.


Just hope someone with an eye for a bargain looks in.

i think elimar should stop this person bidding in future, ive blocked him from bidding on my auctions .........i reckon this story about him splitting with his wife is a load of sh*t, he got told off by the mrs for buying pigeons is more like the truth .

sadly there are a lot like him, the hobby of pigeon keeping / racing is full of ar*e holes ..........

Same with live auctions David.

Seen bidding off  the wall and planted bidders many times.

Always those ready to break the rules and unforetuntely our sport has more than their share.

thing is misty, there was other people bidding on them, he not only robbed me of a decent price for my ybs, but deprived others of buying them .....now they are older they wont be so appealing .....

reason he didnt go through with the sale is down to one thing ........the wife found out he was spending hundreds of pounds on pigeons, nothing to do with splitting up

Just had a look on the site David.

The bids are just stupid, would never  get well bred youngsters at that price  in previous years.

Think the uncertainty has something to do with it.

Cannot honestly see  things getting better for the sport as a whole.

Think one more setback would see many pack in and that is confusing matters.

ill be lucky to get half what they got bid last week, even if you took away his winning bid, there was other people outbid by him, and they would still have made decent money ..

im going to message elimar and see what reapercushions this man is going to face, a ban maybe ........?

one buyer bought 2 lots (14), paid and arranged walkers to collect .........so thats that sorted, just waiting on the other buyer to pay

thank goodness, a loss of money, but hey ho, they have found new homes, and will be on their way tomorrow

If you didn't want to be stuck with them David it's all you can do mate. Just got to put it behind you and think about building a yb racing loft for next year

yes colin, a lot of thought will have to go into thinking about a yb loft for next year if im going to have a go at racing, no room really to build one, but toying with a couple of ideas .........

good news yer not lumbered with 21 ybs david ,put it down to experience eh atb

14 just gone to lanarkshire with walkers, other 7 being collected by high flyers this afternoon .......next batch ready soon, go through it all again , hopefully straight forward and no idiots bidding .
