thanks misty, its good to make a few quid back on corn etc, but its nice to see how they do for other fanciers if they keep me upto date .......i cant see any racing for me in the near future, so it also keeps some interest for me along with the rpra one loft races .

high flyers calling this morning , off to their new home in hampshire , next lot went on last night, got 2 bids already ........hoping for another group listed later today.

cant be doing this again next year, its a full time job, bitten off more than i can chew .........

With all that lolly coming in David you could hire a loft manager.

yep knackered, first chook farmer in leeds eh ........

2 groups on elimar now, price is creeping up, ending over the weekend , hopefully collected next wednesday .

not sure how long people are going to buy ybs at this stage of the season, obviously some still need some to race ......best not breed too many, the bubble may burst soon .

yeah, corn bill gone up drastically since the eggs started hatching ......

be glad when its over, starting smashing eggs this week coming, so i can seperated ASAP

second group just ended, went to a fancier in falkirk, sterlingshire this time .......i hope hes happy with them .

Doing well David, some in BHW going for less.

Sport in our area going down hill fast.

Ran into old club mate, told me the club has had to sell the club house, down to 5 flying members.

We had 30 flying members not too long ago.

Club started over  80 odd years ago, fanciers ran all sorts of fund raising events to purchase it, it is a building with down stairs for the club and a flat above  clubs would give their right arm for it.

There is another club in town with about the same membership if they joined then they could have saved the building.

Cannot understand some people.

yes misty, its a dying hoby .........was in asda check out yesterday, cashier was a man ..........told me about his grandad who`s loft he scraped out for 50p, he didnt know people still raced pigeons any more .

yes they do i said, but its dying out ........i suppose its a product of how life has changed over the last 30 - 40 - 50 years.
