Two Hens Paired Together

Can't work this one out but a cock had to get to one of them, these 2 in hens section paired together and took over the floor, low and behold look what hatches on saturday, one hen was first hen back and the other was last pigeon back, warm night so egg didn't chill when they were away 17 hours uncovered

Barry had two y/b cock birds mate up. He traoned them as a pair. ever put eggs under them that hatched out etc. Did well for him.

had a cock and hen Nest mates. Would go any where near another but stayed together as a pair etc.

Would have done as Barry did and swap the eggs .... well bred pair at that.
I know .... many would leave them together etc.

Never came across it myself, maybe because of open loft and all together all the time, very interesting.

had this in me old stock shed ,big cheq hen i thought was a cock anyway never found out until the following year when the cheq hen was paired to another hen and nothing hatched
