| I think you'll only hear stuff if it's good news, anything going on like hundreds going missing from short tosses or off shed roof they aren't going to share too eagerly.
If there's 99% returns from the first hot spot then there will likely be plenty publicity shared around that (but we all know there won't be 99% returns from anywhere). |

| One would think as the RPRA get a financial return on this event they would look into what is going on.
They are also responsible for the manner it is run.
I feel it totally irresponsible (although in my opinion the RPRA has for the past 50 years been run by a clique of self opinionated and selfish individuals) for them to leave it to one person without making arrangements for periodical assessment of situations that leave much to be desired.
In my opinion there must be something sadly amiss that needs an explanation for the fanciers taking part.
Perhaps a good way would be for fanciers money to be returned for all those not making the final.

| i would agree misty but maybe a full refund for birds not getting to the training stage ...£125 a go after all but seems the rpra just want to fleece us ,i think we could buy a horse between us at this rate and get a better return |

| Bilco had the soluction. He put it before us time after time ... said it would be exactly how it ... and getting worse. No one listened. All want a 'Shiney Knight' in white armour! P.s never been on... Knight Templears were just a mercenary killing and enforcement agency for the Pope. Till they got too strong ad the Pope had - at great cost and time put an end to their power... Of course the other stutterings was 'There is enogh Rich people, concern owners that have Secretaries and offices etc. They could / should do something! Amy one but the fancier surely. |

| If you read the BHW and the RP in the very early 70s Steve Spinks, Mike on his Hill and myself worked together in an attempt to save the sport from ruin.
Not once but numerous times it was pointed out the way the sport was going was down hill fast, and those in charge useless.
Predicted the health of the pigeons would be ruined and in need of constant treatment.
Steve was the first to suggest going into schools and in fact made a video for that purpose.
Mike wrote numerous articles regarding commercialism and how it would ruin the sport for the grass root fancier.
I pointed out time and time again that changes should be made in the manner our sport should be run.
It is there in BLACK and WHITE and most of what the Hall Report suggested is exactly what I suggested nearly 50 years ago.
What happened to the Hall Report?, exactly the same as what happened to my suggestions.
What happened to the sport? exactly what we said would happen.
Apathy by those content with their little lot are as much to blame for letting them ruin the sport and get away with it.

| We are nearly at the long distance stage then oldstrain.
Hope our two are still fighting the odds.
Cannot understand, even with a "POSSIBLE" raptor problem so many being late etc;.
They are not even all liberated together as far as I can make out.
The plot gets worse.
