| that's the old bird racing over so at least we have something to work with as 2 yr olds.
Raced half dozen races up to nearly 200 miles with these laterbred 2020 pigeons unraced last year as babies. Won a few club cards and 5th, 10th, 14th fed usually @1000 birds in fed and there were some dodgy races with big losses. Started with 16 and left with 13, none of which nighted out or returned really late or came back in a box so happy enough.
Struggling with YB as there always seems to be something hanging on them but determined to get 2 or 3 races into them even if I end up jumping them @120 miles. I think they need experience racing as YB's to compete as yearlings and older around here. See how it goes as haven't much spare time for them this year, can't get any sort of routine in place but work comes first! |

| they done well for you colin when you consider everything,not easy racing as a one man band eh ,no holidays and everything is down to yourself ...its hard work ,partnerships seem to fair better whether it be bros or freinds or whatever you can see why they team up it makes life alot easier eh ,atb with the ybs i am sure you will get some races into them |
