Must be very frustrating barnie, admire you for not doing
what some would do, let the pigeons time themselves in, whilst
away from the loft.

Hope it pays off in the long run.

Regards.

They got a clattering, we got 1/11 and that's over 4 hrs ago, there nowhere near home, same in all clubs in the fed vast majority of birds still missing and that's only 80-odd miles race in what seems a perfect weather scenario, they can't all be crap pigeons surely?

seems to be terrible racing fanciers are having this year, yes there are losses with pigeon racing every year, but this year seems worse than normal .......even in good weather conditions the races are bad .

Said previously, there is something sadly amiss that is causing losses,
the weather all round the world has gone mad, we have no idea what
the boffins attempting cyber war are getting up to but there is no doubt what so ever that things are not normal that fanciers have no control over what so ever.

Also noticed a lack of wild birds like house martins, read reports of sea creatures
behaving abnormally in previously unvisited areas etc; etc;

Under present circumstances feel fanciers have no answer, nor any blame.

Just a sign of the times.

Regards.

That type of news etc Barnie Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad will not maybe help everyone there local bounce bounce see the season out I suggest. Only positive thing Wink Wink if looking for a positive factor Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes was you left 25% home apparently. cheers

3/11 by nightfall, nothing so far today which isn't so good weather being damp and grey. That's probably it for the season, everyone is in the same boat, thousands missing, novices and top experienced fanciers all been wiped out from only 80 miles on a good weather day. I know we all had a pop at the one loft manager who made some questionable decisions throughout but to be fair there really is something in the atmosphere, 5G or radio waves, microwaves, I don't know, that's evident in the racing and training this season but also on migratory birds the more you look into it.

Feel for you barnie after all the effort put in, as with all the other fanciers.

No doubt our Governing body will look into it like they did the Raptor Problem.

sorry to hear this colin ...i hope some more turn in for you today,my beef with the one loft is the amount that dont even get to train and then the repeat trainers from such short distances ,the k-index was low yesterday so it cant be blamed on that eh
are many ybs getting reported in a certain area ? hopefully they can work back today ,i hope so atb

Just read about a large earthquake, then we have wildfires in many places, never heard of previously and more serious in places that usually have the odd one.

Record high pressure along with flooding never previously encountered

Record temperatures.

ETC: ETC;

Me thinks something amiss that is having a major effect on nature as a whole our feathered friends being no exception.

Then we have the virus.

Dread to think what is round the corner.

Was going to say, MAKE HAY WHILST THE SUN SHINES, looked out the window.
to put it bluntly, it is peeing down.

Seems all organisations flying south road into yorks, NE and Scottish borders all suffered similar losses/missing YB David. Yet apart from a light to fresh west wind at times, skies were fine with plenty blue sky and sunshine, bone dry en route right up the east side.

Think far more than falcons involved oldstrain, think most wild birds are having a hard time even though one would have thought the conditions were ideal.

We have the technology to see if raptors are as much to blame as some think.
tracking and even photographic evidence could easily be implemented if the desire was there.

We should put all our faith in the RPRA Council, look what a glowing success they made of the Raptor Alliance.

That is what they are supposed to be there for there for.

Regards.
