yes but if you send 30 instead of 3 or 4 then the chances of one hitting form that week are conciderably greater is this not the case

What you trying to say ian

I would rather have a small team than a large one as a small team are easier to look after and keep an eye on your team

Shall have to remind me what i was quoeting about (which i no doute you will) lol! lol!

i think there are two ways of looking at this, firstly as ian says.......send a load and hope for the best ie one or two hitting form etc, secondly a small team fancier knowing his birds and being able to condition them for a spacific race to win it, like mark brown obviously did.........

the cost for mark to enter his birds will have been a fraction of what the fancier who sent 139 has paid so when marks winings were something in the region of £1,400 common scence tells us who the best flyer is and which method to use........also the man who sent 139 birds couldnt be confidant in his birds ability or he wouldnt have needed to send all those, and as we all know............MOST PIGEONS ARE NO GOOD lol! lol! lol! and reading the results it seems out of the 139 sent, 135 of them were no good lol! lol! lol!

David the 139 that was sent to the national was sent by the RPRA one loft think they were all yearlings, and raced under the name of one fancier

But it just shows the quality of management and pigeons of Mark's "top quality" and 100% committment through and through, just shows you don't need a large team

it does not matter how many you send to the nationals you can send a thousand
but the wind plays a part where the winner ends up every time .

yes don, i think your right..... but as you also point out the quality of marks birds when only 4 sent was excellent and his winner still beat the 139 birds sent by the oneloft.

top flying................. cheers
