Boris Johnson has been rapped by the statistics watchdog for using a “selective” and “misleading” claim that he has already been told is untrue.

The Prime Minister boasted at Wednesday’s PMQs that “there are 430,000 more [people] in employment now than there were before the pandemic.”

But the UK Statistics Authority said the Tory leader was only counting people on payrolls.

Once the self-employed and off-payroll workers are included, the real total is 600,000 fewer than before the pandemic.
Well will bolster his next election win eh! Yes daft and senseless layalty will make excuses. Like 'Well You would' and ' They are all the same'!
bAnd the great one from thar Welsh girl when told 17 false promises and down right lies said 'We'' at least he believes it when he lies!! lol
Plus many more lies... Plus the lies he will tell, and his cronnies backing him up to win the next election lol. Of course he will win it. Never has there been a bigger liar than him EVEN in the Tory Party ... unless one counts Thatcher ... but then that evil one was even human!

In January Boris Johnson claimed he did not mention Turkey during the referendum after it was suggested he falsely claimed 80 million Turks would come to Britain unless the UK left the EU. Maybe that's why sadly Putin treats him with utter contempt now etc David him being (Putin) the absolute expert on the subject matter .

Never heard of her until now.

Obviously her strings have been pulled from a young age, although her concerns should be shared by all those who ( sadly) think the earth has a future if controlled by mankind.

If Putin thinks Russia would get away uncathed in a nuclear war he must be, he is mad.

Tis mystifying why Biden is so mute at the present time.

Same again. A nation invaded another country in 1914. So in we went. Four leaders, all cousins. World war one. Then Germany tried - like Russian is now to get own territory etc. unfairly taken so went into Poland. So we went to war. World war two!
Next war will end with all nation chuffed saying 'Pease in our time'! Then armaggeddon comes.

Even if you are a none believer, no one in their right mind could think that at some time nuclear war would not be a certainty, even in the unlikely event that it is averted now.

Time is certainly getting short etc Misty I'm as you say. Time maybe also for those behind/close to Putin to somehow get street wise now & give him an early Xmas type surprise, like he has done with others in the past who thought different to him & his big ego factor .

Fear factor is the same I suspect somehow David those from Ukraine thou much dryer maybe coming in by plane etc     & are more likely to be mothers & young children & a few old folk types     compared to many young male types coming across the water there looking to call        Leeds home now apparently for a free feed & general lodging  as such  .

you got it in one knackered, just shows which are genuine fleeing for their lives eh .......no one minds genuine people who are fleeing, just i would imagine those boat travellers have taken away a lot of folks sense of accepting any more incomers .

Hard to know what to say in these present circumstances when in your own belief you know what the end will be.

However, the vast majority of those leaving the Ucraine are either women and children ot those over 60.

Cannot see how anyone can think we are a safe haven.

If nuclear war breaks out we will be the first target of Russia, as a warning to others.

If you look at the way our society has gone down hill in every respect, Gommora does not do it justice.
